As a professional musician for over 15 years, it is a great privilege to bring all of my experience to the teaching studio. I work hard to give all pupils the best possible musical education.

Piano and Keyboard Lessons

Whether you want to reach an ATCL diploma or just play for fun, my teaching can help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

 

I work closely and collaboratively with my pupils to make sure that what I'm teaching, and how I'm teaching it, is rewarding, challenging and appropriate.

Music Theory

Lessons

With a Batchelor of Music Honours Degree I am fully qualified to teach music theory.

I can tutor pupils to pass Trinity and ABRSM theory exams, or teach advanced theory including harmony, counterpoint and analysis.

This is available to all instrumentalists and vocalists, not just pianists.

Clarinet

Lessons

As a former musician in the Royal Marines Band Service I am also a proficient  clarinettist and have ABRSM grade 8.

Clarinet lessons are available for pupils who already have some woodwind experience.
